Job Description

Academic Tutor | St Helens & Surrounding Areas | £25–£30 per hour

Want to ditch the classroom admin and focus purely on teaching? We are hiring dedicated Maths, English, and Science tutors across St Helens for 1:1, face-to-face tuition. You’ll support students who need targeted academic help, confidence building, or specialist SEN/SEMH provision.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Maths, English, or Science (UK National Curriculum).

  • Proven teaching or tutoring experience.

  • Experience supporting students with SEND or SEMH needs is desirable.

  • Adaptable teaching style to keep individual learners engaged.

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply.
